Be honest with guests about the weather
Observation depends on cloud, haze and the lunar cycle, and no amount of equipment changes that. Properties that promise a guaranteed sky generate complaints; properties that say plainly what the night may or may not offer, and have a genuinely good indoor session ready, do not. Setting the expectation at booking rather than at the eyepiece is the single most important operational decision in the whole programme.
